Mentor Program
Renewed Life Ministry is more concerned with your future than your current situation, however dire that may be. We can meet immediate needs as usual, (food pantry, clothing, diapers and wipes but the mentor program is the foundation of why we exist. You can have a mentor to walk you through a year (perhaps a lifetime of friendship) of compassionate guidance as you work to reach your educational, familial, emotional, and spiritual goals for the year (12- month time frame.)
Why consider being coached?
What is a coach?
A mentor is a person or friend who guides a less experienced person by building trust and modeling positive behaviors. An effective mentor understands that his or her role is to be dependable, engaged, authentic, and tuned into the needs of the mentee.
Who will benefit?
Many young women have had some type of trauma or were not able to receive proper training as a young woman from those in your life, you may feel that you are lost in world of choices and decision-making. Do you feel that you have a goal to reach, but unsure as to how to get there? Do you believe that you were created in your mother’s womb, but unable to be the woman that God created you to be? If any of this speaks to your heart, you are in the right place.
How will I benefit?
You will have a female coach that will walk alongside of you as you grow in many ways. You will be able to reach out to her with questions, ask for advice and know that you have someone on your side, as you navigate unchartered waters. You will have the benefit from the children’s clothing outreach as needed. You will be able to have access to the RLM Food pantry if you need to use. You will have the opportunity to be part of an in-person or social media group Bible study. At a minimum, you will have a mentor-friend for a year (and probably a lifetime:)
